Wayfinding Competition Brief

The Brief:
In a two-phase response, 1) assess the current state of wayfinding at the BAC campus, with a focus on the 320 Newbury building, and 2) propose an integrated wayfinding solution which responds to the needs identified in your evaluation. Your solution should be achievable with the technology and fabrication methods available to BAC students. It is the sponsor's intent to commission the winning entrant with production and installation of the system as a prototype to be in place by October 18.

The prototype installation will be assessed over a four week period in October and November. Depending on the outcome, the sponsors may choose to expand the installation, use it as the basis for a future signage and wayfinding system, or remove and discard it. A fabrication budget of $400 should be assumed for the prototype.
